Diocese of Masbate Website - Galleon Festival

2006 - on the occasion of the 38th foundation anniversary of the Diocese of Masbate, various activities were initiated, among which is the Symposium on the Hispanization and Christianization of Masbate. Same Symposium paved the way for the conceptualization of the Galleon Festival.
2007 - all the activities observed in the previous year, namely, the Paila sa Kabataan, Feria Mercantil, Diocesan Exhibit, Symposium, etc., were either given a sequel or provided with innovations to launch the Galleon Festival.
2008 - in the Ruby Anniversary of the Diocese of Masbate, the Galleon Festival assumes its place and reputations as a church-based revelry about the Masbateño identity, history and goal.
